Featuring Appa the flying bison. The Mod's Choice prize for the 2014 DH Avatar Pumpkin Carving Contest, and my first attempt making this pattern. It is an adorable 3-inches long and 1&1/4-inches tall, not counting the braided chain. Crocheted with 2-ply yarn, with some embroidery details.
